It's all very well offering literal translations but what do people actually say in English? Not "judged worthy of obtaining" that's for sure.

agree Connor : Oh yes! Just imagine the headmaster saying 'Little Brian has been judged worthy of his certificate' - its a school, not a religious sect or a court of law! This is a better translation by far!!
