agree Tony M : Yes, definitely for the honey glazed/cloves; don't know anything about the pots.

agree Michael Locey : Yes, and thanks for the hyphen! The whole Cinderella thing strikes me of one of those things that a chef is liabe to do on a whim. Call it Pommes Cendriollon f you're short on exoticism in that part of the menu

Pommes Cendrillon are mashed potatoes or a gratin of potatoes. Found those in my personal french cook books.

It\'s glazed ham, and not glossed.

Also, keep the \"Cinderella style\" as it sounds closer to the original. It is a \"manière de faire\". I would even translate into
\"Cinderella style potatoes with truffles juce/sauce\" to make it sound more \"gourmet\" like.

thank you
agree Ouadoud : may be apple. It seems so sweet..

no, it's potatoes. The sweet part is the ham. Les truffes sont partie de l'accompagnement salé.
neutral cmwilliams (X) : honey-glazed ham

Cinderella potatoes

Several hits on Google for various dishes involving both potatoes and pumpkin --- mainly gratin or purée, but I guess the principle of Cendrillon = with pumpkin could apply elsewhere.

The Rossini hit on Google mentions 'pommes Cendrillon' as accompanying tournedos Rossini (one of my own specialities!), which only serves to confirm in my mind that it MUST be potatoes, not apples!

I found no Google hits from Uk for 'Cinderella potatoes'
