French term

réaliser en sécurité

French to English Tech/Engineering Computers: Software Railway safety software
This comes up several times in a document describing a train safety software application

Proposed translations (English)

is secure

I initially thought of something like "installed securely" or "securely installed", but I don't actually think you need to translate the « réaliser » directly here.

agree writeaway : but I think it's better to use the verb

handle securely

"None of these processes are handled securely..."

Please refer to this article for an example in context (first sentence of third paragraph):

neutral writeaway : not so sure your reference corresponds to the context here. In your ref, it's handled by.......

Yes, handled by a piece of software, which is also the case here: "Aucun de ces traitements n'est réalisé en sécurité..."

run in a secure mode

The processes are run normally, not in a secure mode.
Peer comment(s):

agree Philippa Smith : I'd say without the "a": "run in secure mode"

insecurely

My view is that there is a double negative here!

So my quick translation would be:
None of these processes are performed insecurely, any failure that could jeopardize the safety of PIP package (and thus the system) will be detected and handled by the CKD1 card, using uniprocessor code.

But I may of course be wrong as 'pas' is ommitted. The text just seems to make more sense this way. Why would each step of a security sytem be run unsecurely?

I agree that no train safety system would be insecure. That is why I said NONE of these processes are performed insecurely....

In a more free transaltion, one could say: 'Each of these processes is performed under fail safe conditions because any failure that could jeopardize the safety of PIP package (and thus the system) will be detected and handled by the CKD1 card, using uniprocessor code. Hope this is helpful :-)
Note from asker:
In this case, I think we're talking more about safety. The system in question is a train safety system. And I think it has more to do with being fail-safe
