shareholders' loan
This is the accounting term to cover advances made by shareholders/partners etc...mostly occurs when they do not want to provide more risk capital. The interest is also tax deductible and it avoids a dilution of other shareholders. Associes in this case is jst another word for a holder of shares in the capital.I would not use partners, which has a specific legal meaning in English law.

And by the way, this is an advance/loan to the company OF WHICH they are themselves shareholders. This is a loan FROM the \"associes\" TO the company in which they hold shares , not a loan TO the associes.

The text provided by JS above is crystal clear fot those who can read."Avance d'associes" are made by shareholders.Associes is the general word for shareholders. In fact shareholders in aSARL are called associes, in a SA, actionaires. Both are shareholders.

Comment: "I fully agree with Jean-Charles here. After having a closer look at the text there is other evidence that these are shareholder loans. Thank you very much Jean-Charles for your timely intervention. I just had enough time to put it in the translation before the deadline. Thanks too to the other answers which also helped."

Explication

avance dassocis
promotion of partners or associates
postes here are items under liabilities....avance would then be a promotion..when employees are transferred, that is often concommitant with job promotion...as for associes, it can be partners or associates, hard to tell, not enough context..

poste might mean jobs...un poste is a job, it is also an item on the balance sheet...

: It is in fact a loan FROM the "associes" TO the company in which they are themselves shareholders. The text is very clear. D'associes means FROM not TO
