That would be my initial reaction.
However, without wishing to breach your desire for confidentiality, I have found the exact text you appear to be translating, hence tracked down the identity of M. X., and hence the company he works for. As a result, I'm not utterly convinced that "éditeur de médias" is exactly what he does for a living! However, one of the other company directors was previously "multimedia R&D director" for another company, so maybe it DOES fit after all...
