I am working on a document for a space and aviation company and their maintenance manual has the following specification:

Mise en place de solutions de contournement matériel (ex. Brassage SHF) par procédures opérationnelles.

I had never come across Brassage SHF before and I have found no Google entries for it either. I would be very thankful if you could help me out.

You are right for the patch panel, and patching it is. My mistaken pasting in that case.
