Finnish to English Other Nutrition
In an article about nutrition. I'm wondering if there is a neutral, yet informal term in English which corresponds to this one. Only thing I can think of is "a low-carb dieter".

There is no specific term/noun for this as far as I'm aware. This type of expressions are the only ones I've ever come across in the Irish/UK press. The Finnish terms "karppaaja" and "karpata" are more to-the-point in this case.

yes, quite seriously
Example sentence:

4 Jun 2012 – Planning is critical on any eating plan, but it seems especially so on low carb. ... options but wouldn't even consider anything low-carbarian!

A lot of people associate eating clean with eating high-protein, low-carb, which often is .... When I was veggie I definitely became a “carbarian”-and felt awful.
