No. They are not synonymns.

(1) Serial number:
- appears on back panel of electronics products and the number must be stated in Warranty registration forms.

(2) Manufacturer's number:
- typically appears within a certain part of a barcode. The number is assigned by the respective national barcode numbering agencies. Other information that appears in the barcode is contry code, product code, check digit, etc.

(3) Factory number:
- Some manufacturers may have more than 1 factory and so may one to assign different factory numbers to products manufactured from different factories and this can appear within certain designated portions of the 'Serial number' or 'barcode'.

I\'ve checked my answers above. The careless spelling error is \"contry -> country\" above and \"orginal -> original\" below.
In the compactor question http://www.proz.com/kudoz/297205, I find nothing wrong with my sentence construction.
If you think you have a better explanation, you should have presented your answers. Such a hostile attitude is uncalled for including sending hostile E-Mails.

In the US, I could have sued you for defamation. (No, I\'m not doing that)

neutral Norman (X) : Excellent - you know how to copy and paste. But your own English spelling is dreadful (synonymns), and the Compactor question proves you can't write a correct English sentence and should stay out of the English (monolingual) section.

My carelessness. It's orginal. It's is not found anywhere else in the same words.

Not at all

Serial is usually referred to a piece or an equipment. Factory and manufacturer's number may apply for internal use, reports to public entities or associations, etc.

neutral Mike Birch : need to see the Polish. For instance this might be ISO 9000, where manufacturer, factory etc are combined in a single code for unique identification and tracking

Yes and No. These are three different sets of numbers although there might be one case in which they

...could be the same

Serial Number is a number stamped or imprinted on a product to identify it's unique number. When buying a TV for example, the unit you bought is stamped with a unique number - the serial number

Factory number tends to be the number designator a factory assigns to a line of products or individual items within that line. Typically, although stamped on the item, this number is NOT general knowledge.

Manufacturer's number is a type of designator that the factory makes available to the retailer and that could help with identifying a product.

These three can all mean the same if:
Serial number is used as a generic term for the number either the factory or manufacturer have stamped on a product
