Taser tape
The killer was already wraped the body in the shower curtain and bound it up with parcel tape. Now the forensic technicians had added individually numbered strips of Taser tape to every square centimetre of the outer shower curtain and parcel tape. When arrived at the forensic lab, the Taser would be removed strip by strip, and transfered to clear perspex sheets and any forensic traces would therefore be secured for analysis.
I only know that Taser is a kind of electronic gun but couldn't find any TASER tape that involved forensic on Googles or relevant. What exactly is a Taser tape in this passage?

but Tesa might also be used as a name for other not so famous brands, similar to the use of Edding, Sharpie, Q-tip etc//If you would have read carefully, you would have understood, that this was an example

A tamper guard that is taped on every piece of evidence that is marked as one.
a Tamper-Guard features a red dye, within the adhesive, that will appear if any solution is used to open a taped container. "EVIDENCE DO NOT OPEN" is imprinted continuously.

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., May 12, 2008 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- TASER International, Inc. (Nasdaq:TASR), a market leader in advanced electronic control devices, today announced the TASER(r) Shield Conversion Kit featuring the TASER REPEL Laminate Film Technology(tm). The announcement was made at the Office of Law Enforcement Technology Commercialization (OLETC) Mock Prison Riot(r) on the grounds of the former West Virginia Penitentiary in Moundsville, WV.
The TASER Shield Conversion Kit provides officer safety at an affordable cost. "The TASER REPEL Laminate Film Technology is another innovative design that converts existing officer equipment to have the added benefits of the TASER Incapacitation technology," said Tom Smith, Chairman of TASER International, Inc.
The TASER Shield Conversion Kit features a peel and stick perforated TASER REPEL Laminate Film, power supply and necessary conversion equipment. This laminate becomes electrified providing a powerful deterrent to protect officers and keep suspects or rioters at bay. The shield can be compatible with the TASER Controlled Digital Power Magazine (CDPM) system which was announced earlier this month.

Every year, Taser demos their latest and greatest in a mock prison riot at an old penitentiary in West Virginia. This year's star is peel-and-stick taser tape, that'll turn any surface into a fully electrified no-no zappy zone.

story about taser tape
I don't know if this is truth or fiction, but there are stories about "taser tape." NPR (US National Public Radio) ran such a story which then got picked up on may other internet sites.
"Mr. SCHACTMAN: I got to say I don't know too much about the peel and stick taser tape.
MARTIN: Great. Thanks for coming.
Mr. SCHACTMAN: Yeah. No problem. Taser International, the company sort of made a very oblique press release about it this week, so you can imagine that some of those barbs that I was talking about before, those electrical conducting barbs could be imbedded in some kind of tape and then that could be put on a shield or a uniform or a helmet. "

Discussion
The preferred method for collecting small amounts of dried fluids is to lift them with tape, in a manner similar to lifting fingerprints. Ordinary transparent office tape is preferable to fingerprint lifting tape for this purpose, in that fingerprint tape may be too adhesive to allow for later sample removal. The tape containing the lifted dried fluid should then be taped down onto a clear plastic bag, which will then be inverted to protect the sample and packaged as evidence...
When this is impractical, loose hairs may be carefully gathered with tweezers and packaged in a small envelope or vial, or lifted from the surface with common clear office-type tape (fingerprint lifting tape should be avoided because of its strong adhesive)

Fingerprint lifting tape is a traditional and professional solution to removing and storing prints.

Apparently the Forensics Market is not large enough to warrant a specific page on their site.
This is a distributor site:
