Non-PRO (1): Yvonne Gallagher
When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.
How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:
An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)
A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).
Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.
When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.
* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

back fence - intimate and informal talk
In the context, the shoppers talk to each other intimately, though it's about some negative aspects of certain goods.
You can refer to the photo on this(http://www.i1053country.com/over-the-back-fence.html) website.

The zero moment of truth (ZMOT) refers to the point in the buying cycle when the consumer researches a product, often before the seller even knows that they exist. The First Moment of Truth (when a consumer is “at the shelf” with many brands to choose from); and the Second Moment of Truth (when the customer buys the product, starts using it, creates experiences around it and learns if the product lives up to their expectations.
Therefore, the shoppers were at the First Moment of Truth but "back" to Zero memoent of truth.
Hope this helps!

: No, there are two instances of "back", and Masoud wants to know what the second one means.

Yvonne Gallagher
: with both explanations. You are extrapolating far too much from "back fence" and "back"//No, "malicious or slanderous character"/"it's about some negative aspects of certain goods"/"cheery back-fence chats" are all over-translation

After I answered, I saw the asker's comment above and added the note about the second "back". That's why the asker agreed.
In my opinion, to explain "back to ZMOT", definition of ZMOT is needed since ZMOT is a kind of new marketing term.

Return to/start over/continue
this simply means returning back to first moment of truth and not "To make sure they buy the right product they go back to...." |
