What is it ? it might be a typo ?

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

Someone is getting shot at by someone with a lousy aim, shooting down the window blinds (they first "danced on their mountings" then finally fell down) and putting six bullets in the fridge door.
Kourosh Fallah Apr 23, 2023:
Levelor is an American manufacturer of custom window blinds and shades.

It seems Levelor here means the blind\shade manufactured by that company.

I'm sorry, but I don't understand. You ask what 'Levelor' means, not Levolor.

'1-The metal Levelors danced on their mountings', meaning that the blinds moved, i.e. the screws attaching them came loose.

Ah, now I understand. The brand is called Levolor. I don't know why that is but I'm pretty sure it refers to window coverings. What kind of text are you translating? It could either be a typo or has been written like that on purpose.
Note from asker:
Probably right but , Levelor v.s. Levolor ??
Yes I just meant that Levelor v.s. Levolor ,only single letter difference. But I accept your answer seems very logical.

There's a slight possibility that Levelor and Levolor refer to different things. Thank you, Yvonne :-)
agree Alison MacG : Another sentence from the novel: She closed the Levelor blinds over the windows so no one could see them.
