The supplier is given a separate packaging account for every type of packaging and every goods recipient, in which his supplier number is assigned to the respective packaging identification and number of the goods recipient.

account referes to?? stock? or some kind of business account ??

before...about supply classes On account of the different processes, requirements and obligations towards suppliers concerning logistics processes, company has defined standardized supply classes for the different components and delivery situations in order to guarantee cost-optimized supplies control.

an account for each kind of packaging

There is nothing in the context to suggest that these accounts are for financial control. Rather, they seem to be for control of deliveries and stocks. So, whatever the system is, the supplier has an account where he posts details for each delivery according to its packaging system and number of the goods recipient.

packaging account is a strange term to me but I think this is what is implied here
