English term
ENVA
English
Other
Business/Commerce (general)
This is a difficult one! Our client is changing it's company name to "ENVA" and needs to make sure that as a word, it doesn’t translate into something in another language, which could be potentially embarrassing for them.
If anyone knows of this word existing in their language I would much appreciate an explanation/translation in English.

: What a nice link, Anna Maria! Thanks. But I don't think this one will be a very great problem, since ENVA is the ICAO code, and not the more widely known IATA code (which in this case is TRD). Also incidentally, it is my local airport!

You might want to submit the question about whether the term means anything negative to a more generalized forum, one which translators not working in English would read. (Does anyone know if Kudo allows a cross-post to all language pairs?)

: Good idea, Joshua, but I haven't seen such a possibility anywhere in my exploration of the site.
