Quite As I said, name spelling is a bit of a free for all, and of course it is YOUR name, and you can spell it as you wish. From the "correct" Spanish point of view, there should be no "h", but personal usage must come first, plus fashion, not to mention the fact that there is indeed an argument in favour of preserving that Greek "Th" ... (I'm also reminded of the massive trouble that a friend had to go to twenty or so years ago to name his daughter "Helena" rather than "Elena" in the days before things eased up and you could give pretty much any name you wanted. In the end he blinded the stubborn funcionario with so many books on classical history and mythology that he won!)

THALÍA It should be noted that the well-known Mexican actress and singer THALÍA spells it with an "H", and because of that, perhaps many other people would do so also.

Talía

That's "TalEEa". This is the original Spanish name, which comes from the Greek Muse, of comedy, daughter of Zeus and Mnemosyne.

However, it has been "bastardised" into this North American English pronunciation. They may spell that in a number of ways.... "Thalia" (that would be respectful of the Greek), Talía or goodness only knows how! Think of the number of ways you can spell "Catherine"....
