Using the XR functionality of the Provider Station will assure the best snapshot possible.
An XR snapshot can only be taken when connected to an XR Patient Station.
When taking an XR snapshot, the snapshot is taken at the Patient Station, compressed, transferred back to the Provider Station through the phone lines, and then opened.
Non-XR snapshots are taken from the video that appears at the Provider Station.
Both types of images are obtained by following the steps below.
To take an XR snapshot:
Once a video connection is made and the software displays a connection to an XR Patient Station, check the XR Snapshot box.
