So much so that we deformed the splitter at speed and got a bit of aero porpoising at speed which really slowed us down.

Discussion
Es lo que en barcos se llama también -marsopeo- o -delfineo-, o sea un movimiento hacia arriba y abajo según se avanza (http://www.nauticayyates.com/tag/equipamiento-2/ ...reduce el delfineo y las cavitaciones...)
En este caso entiendo que -aero- indica solo el medio en el que están haciendo la prueba y que quizá se puede omitir.
