English term

Rules of Civil Procedure applicable thereto.

English to Spanish Other Law (general) Law
I would like to know the best way to translate this phrase from American English into Latin American Spanish.

It's the translation of a legal document for a lawyer's deposition.

Thanks for your help.

Ray, here is the full sentence:
The deposition will be taken in the offices of XXXXXXXXXXXXXX, 400 Morris Avenue, Second Floor,
Morristown, NJ 07621, pursuant to the Rules of Civil Procedure applicable thereto.

I hope this will be helpful.

de conformidad con las normas de derecho procesal civil...

Cuando hablamos del <<derecho procesal>>, en inglés le corresponde <<rules of procedure>> or <<procedural rules>>.

Thanks Merab.

agree Mónica Algazi : Sí, las normas pertinentes/aplicables ....

agree Agustina Bellino : "Aplicable" sounds like an anglicism in Spanish but Dekano's option is a good one. Perhaps "de conformidad con las normas de derecho procesal civil QUE CORRESPONDAN".

Gracias, Agustina. "normas que resulten de aplicación" se utiliza mucho. Otra opción: "normas pertinentes", "normas correspondientes", "normas oportunas". Ahí ya le damos rienda suelta a la creatividad, porque significan lo mismo en este contexto.

las reglas aplicables de procedimiento civil

o reglas de procedimiento civil que sean aplicables al asunto... more context might help

Is it "hereto" ( a la presente) or "thereto" (al asunto)? I think it's fine to just put "aplicables" and it's implied and understood. It often helps to see the whole sentence when answering a question. :-)

Yeah, " reglas de procedimiento civil aplicable a ello" but you could omit and go with my original, more concise answer. You wouldn't be omitting any meaning.
Note from asker:
Thanks Ray but did you also translate "hereto" I don't see the Spanish translation of this term.
Hi Ray, I just put the entire sentence in the discussion line. Maybe this will be helpful.
Thanks Ray.
Hi Ray,I'm sorry about the delay. I was interpreting in a law firm and I have just go your messages. The English term of the sentence is "thereto"
