Acute Unit Services:

E. A. Conway Psychiatric Center:
The Psychiatric Center admits all persons who are determined by screening to be harmful to self or others or gravely disabled due to a mental illness AND who are eighteen years old or older AND whose medical condition is considered sufficiently stable to allow for participation in the treatment program AND whose intelligence or physical ability is adequate to participate in and gain from therapy. The Psychiatric Center admits without regard to race, creed, color, handicap, disability, gender or ability to pay. Services for handicaps will be addressed.

The Psychiatric Center is a locked unit with restricted access limited to those visitors determined appropriate by administration and with the consent of the patient to protect and maintain confidentiality.

If a patient arrives with a Physicians Emergency Certificate or a Coroners Emergency Certificate, he/she must be accompanied by the ORIGINAL document, not a copy. The certificate must be COMPLETELY FILLED OUT, as required by law, with all required data provided. The PEC’d or CEC’D patient’s family or designated "next of kin" will be notified by letter as required by law. No other information will be provided unless specific permission has been given by the patient.

Efectivamente, "'d" le otorga la función de verbo, con lo que debes añadirle una acción, algo como: la envía / la remite / la traslada con un Certificado Médico de Urgencia
