I know JA well, and all the rest of the Caribbean. This term is nearly impossible to translate. Better just to describe it (pollo adobado con chiles habaneros...).

Yeah, but notice that they don't even mention the scotch bonnet pepper--the essential element. It's even more difficult because I think the scotch bonnet and habanero are of the same species, but are different cultivars. Not so easy, after all!

: Agree with Gabriel`s comment. BTW, Scotch Bonnet and Habanero look the same, but the SB has a distinctive, fruity bouquet thet the Habanero lacks. Cheers!
