English term

aromatic oxon and thion Ops

English to Spanish Science Biology (-tech,-chem,micro-) biochemistry
Saludo, este termino es de la tesis: Biodegradation of carbamates by soil bacteria and characterization of the methyl carbamate degrading hydrolase (mcd) heterologously expressed in Escherichia coli

Para saber la correcta traducción de la expresión (el orden correcto).

Parathion hydrolase, an enzyme capable of
degrading a large number of organophosphorous insecticides has been successfully
employed for this purpose (Munnecke, 1976). An enzyme was isolated from
Agrobacterium radiobacter P230 that was capable of hydrolysing the phosphoester
bond of aromatic oxon and thion Ops (Horne et al., 2002). Chapalmadugu and
Chaudhry ( 1993) have reported an enzyme isolated from Pseudomonas aeruginosa
that expressed constitutively have unique specificity of hydrolyzing only carbaryl but
cannot able to hydrolyze other N-methylated carbamates.

DLyons has said the right thing. Here is a proof:
"The cloning of a gene encoding the novel phosphotriesterase from Pseudomonas monteilii C11, which enabled it to use the **** organophosphate (OP) **** coroxon as its sole phosphorus source, is described".

Synthetic organophosphates (OPs) are used widely as insecticides in agriculture. OPs contain three phosphoester linkages and are hence often termed phosphotriesters. The phosphorus is also linked by a double bond to either an oxygen (P⋕O) in oxon OPs or a sulfur (P⋕S) in thion OPs

La mayoría de los organofosforados se producen en su forma inactiva, forma tion (proinsecticidas) y necesitan ser activados, forma oxon.

As the name indicates, all OP pesticides have a central phosphorus atom, with either double bonded oxygen (P=O), or a double bonded sulfur atom (P=S). AP=O pesticide is called an oxon pesticide, and the P=S is termed as a thion pesticide as shown in figure 1.

The enzyme attacked the phosphoester bond of aromatic oxon and thion organophosphates which account for around 50% of available organophosphates.....
