We do not need the word "person" here. Just an O or A if male or female.

Though " Mi persona favorita" seems correct, I do not see the reason why we should use the word "persona".

one word on this expression

I've always heard it applied to a boyfriend/girlfriend or such, as in a friend who wrote to me "I quit my job to marry my favorite person". I may be wrong, but if this is the case, and once again depending on context, register, age, cultural level, and a million "etceteras", I'd say something like "mi media naranja", "mi peor es nada" (I know this is old!) or some other expression of this kind (something sweet and funny).
