For T3, T4 and T5 Type Angle, Heavy Angle and Extra Heavy Angle Towers

The loadings for these towers shall be any of the following four conditions, which in all cases include the wind loadings as applied to Intermediate Towers (T1):

i) Angle Conditions: As for Angle Towers (T2).
ii) Section Loadings: Zero deviation angle, maximum specified weight span and an unbalanced longitudinal loading of 15% maximum working tension for all conductor and shield wire attachment points;
iii) Uplift Loadings: As above but with the specified negative weight span.
iv) Heavy Angle: The tower may be used in locations of extra-long wind and weight spans, using heavy suspension insulator sets. The electrical clearances shall be maintained either with tension insulators or with heavy suspension insulators. The maximum wind span shall be derived similar to conditions for Item (i) and (ii) above.
