INDICAREA COTELOR DE NIVEL

Cotele de nivel se indică în metri cu două zecimale ( chiar dacă acestea sunt 0 ). Cota de reper se indică prin ± 0,00. Nivelul de reper se consideră în general nivelul pardoselii finite de la parterul corpului principal al clădirii; în cazuri speciale se poate lua şi alt nivel caracteristic.

Grade elevations of the surface area around a structure are indicated on the plot plan. Because a natural earth surface is usually irregular in contour, existing grade elevations on such a surface are indicated by contour lines on the plot plan; that is, by lines that indicate points of equal elevation on the ground.

The average or highest natural (pre-construction) ground level that is immediately adjacent to the walls of the building.

In concluzie, grade elevations se refera la cotele la sol (nivelul solului in diverse puncte de masurare). Aceasta masuratoare se face, de obicei, inainte de obtinerea permisului de constructie. La finalizarea lucrarilor se identifica bornele topografice care marcheaza inaltimea initiala la sol si se verifica daca s-a respectat regimul de inaltime a contructiei. Inlatimea constructiei se aproba in raport cu cotele de nivel initiale; cu alte cuvinte, in cazul lucrarilor de excavatii se poate folosi pamantul in surplus pentru ridicarea nivelului cotei terenului la final - daca se doreste aceasta - dar operatiunea in sine nu poate afecta inaltimea finala reala, raportata la cota zero, a cladirii.

Mentionez ca traducerea oferita de mine se bazeaza pe notiunea grade elevations asa cum este ea folosita in domeniul constructiilor; dupa cum se cere. In alte domenii, grade elevations poate insemna un pic altceva.
