Learning Curves - A tourist had a close call after loosing control on the county road that crosses the refuge. The automobile skidded out of control eventually going off the road and striking a fence post. This corner has been the site of many accidents over the years. In spite of many improvements and warning signs, excessive speed causes people to loose control and leave these telltale curves on the road.

: corect dar nu se potriveste in context: "...mă roteam necontrolat pe drumul..."; "...să răsucesc volanul în direcţia rotirii necontrolate dar..." Însă, "...derapam pe drumul... să rotesc volanul în sensul derapării..." parcă "sună" mai româneşte

va rog sa priviti diagrama din link care arata o rotire cu 360 grade a unui vehicul , se poate pe gheata, iar in automobilism 180 grade se cheama "a face un "tête-à-queue" nu e romaneste dar se foloseste

Să explic: normal, e o mişcare de rotire, asta spune clar şi sursa (spin). Nefiind un text tehnic care să descrie manevrele salvatoare în cazul nefericitului eveniment (te învârţi la x grade, contrabrachezi, ţii acceleraţia, spui Tatăl Nostru), m-am gândit că ar fi păstrat fluiditatea frazei. E posibil ceva de genul „m-am răsucit nebuneşte” sau un alt adverb. Încă o dată, nu contest că e vorba de rotaţie. Poate sunt eu prea obişnuit cu aproximările.

Problema va fi însă cum o vei lega de restul frazei - fiindcă şi răsucirea începe cu pierderea controlului/derapajul.
