This is a term that appears on a Joint Operating Agreement between several Oil Companies.

Carry Amount” means the expenditures incurred by the Carrying Parties (as hereinafter defined) in relation to the Carried Party’s twenty percent (20%) Participating Interest (as hereinafter defined) carried for the Exploration Expenditures (as hereinafter defined) by the Carrying Parties, pursuant to this Agreement.
