English term
Block release
English to Portuguese
Other
Education / Pedagogy
The term appears in a CV in the following paragraph:
"Served 4 year Apprenticeship as a Fitter including 1 year Full time at xxxx College and then 3 years Block release at xxxxx College, Glasgow. Duties included Pipefitting/mechanical/plant maintenance"
Meaning (in Britain):
Block release: (Business / Industrial Relations & HR Terms) (Brit) the release of industrial trainees from work for study at a college for several weeks
Any good ideas on how to translate this into Portuguese (PT), please? - I thought of "liberado para treinar", but not sure if it sounds good enough, or if it conveys the meaning properly.
Obrigada!
