Na dokładność wyników FFT i zakres przetwarzanych częstotliwości wpływa zarówno częstotliwość próbkowania, jak i długość okresu próbkowania (czyli liczba próbek przy danej fs).

Jak słusznie cytowane, spektrum częstotliwosci jest zalezne od 1) czestotliwosci probkowania 2) od dlugości okna sygnalu czasowego, przeliczanego przez transformate fouriera do postaci spektrum.
