English to Polish Medical Livestock / Animal Husbandry Trichinella testing

(...) The following shortcomings were noted in relation to Trichinella testing:
• In a proficiency test round carried out in 2010, one of the participant laboratories had failed the test. The organiser had not informed the participant immediately of the poor result and this information was only provided to the District Veterinary Office during the current mission. The participant who had failed the test was the Approved Veterinarian who used the wrong sample size for Trichinella testing (first bullet point). However, the Competent Authority took immediate action terminating the contract of this Approved Veterinarian.
