Myślałem, że 'opinionated news programme' oznacza to samo co opinion-shaping news programme, czyli opiniotwórczy, jednak po konsultacji z Anglikiem zbaraniałem.

"An opinionated news programme would be one which perpetuates (utrwala) the existing views held by it's audience which is the complete opposite of forming the opinions of viewers. The best example of an "opinionated" news programme is anything broadcast by Fox News.

let me give you an example of an opinionated person on an opinionated news program. Look on youtube for any Bill O'Reilly Fox news post. Judge for yourself if he is informing opinion or reinforcing and spreading an opinion which is already held. To form or inform opinion is completely different to informing someone who is opinionated. Opinionated is, in essence having a belief in something which cannot be changed regardless of any evidence which contradicts it.

Opinionated means people who have fixed ideas which they defend against any arguments which contradict them. To be opinionated is generally used as a derogatory term for people who defend an opinion they believe as fact even if facts do not support their opinion.

For example I would say that person is very opinionated
And I would say that news broadcast is very opinion shaping
I'll give you another example where maybe the difference will become clear
I would say that soviet propaganda is very opinion shaping"
