English to German Tech/Engineering Engineering (general) torque measuring
This is a chapter from the manual of a torque wrench:

5.5.1.10 Loose peak
This test lets measure the residual torque by loosing an already tightened screw. The result of the test will be the peak of the torque acquired during the unscrewing.

Of course I understand what the sentence below the title means, but I need an expression for the title. Can anybody help?

Ja klar, kenn ich. Ich hatte Lösemoment nur so verstanden, dass das das Drehmoment ist, bei dem die Verbindung sich löst, daher die überlegung, ob es auch ein nicht maximales Lösemoment gibt...

„maximal“ würde ich lassen, denn das Moment wird durch ein Kräftepaar bewirkt und ist nicht konstant. Du kennst bestimmt „maximales Drehmoment“ bei Verbrennungsmotoren.

@ David: Ginge dann auch nur Lösemoment? Da geht das Peak zwar etwas verloren, aber Lösemoment beinhaltet ja schon maximal. Es kann ja nur ein Lösemoment geben, oder? Das Problem ist allerdings, dass das dann das Gleiche wäre wie Losbrechmoment, und das ist schon für "breakaway torque" vergeben.
