English term

5 per cent

English to French Law/Patents Law (general) Articles of Association
The share capital of the Company as at the date of adoption of these Articles as amended is £87,000.000 divided into 100 5 per cent. Non-Cumulative Preference Shares of £1 each, 36,999,900 Ordinary Shares of £1 each and 50,000,000 Ordinary Redeemable Shares of £1 each

I really do not understant theis 5 %... If we make the calculation : 100 + 36 999 900 + 50 000 000 shares =
87 000 000. What is this 5 %?

ne concerne pas le nombre d'actions mais leur dividende

actions privilégiées à dividende non cumulatif de 5 %

You need to read 100 x (5 % Non-Cumulative Preference Shares of £1 each) + etc.

So your calculation is absolutely correct, it's only a parsing issue ;-)
