Ils étaient un produit du rêve américain et impliquaient un financement partiel du public et [la dépendance interrelationnelle de la direction de leur croissance].

je crois apercevoir une solution... il ne manquerait rien, contrairement à ce qu'il me semblait auparavant...


j'essaye juste de donner un sens à la structure: ces "high carbon stystems" impliquaient "partial public funding" et de plus en plus d'interrelations entre les retombées historiques des choix de gestion (là je me perd un peu, je vois...).


enfin, une fois que la structure est plus claire, je crois que l'apport de FX Fraipont sur la définition de "path dependent" puisse etre la clé pour une bonne traduction...

On dirait qu'il manque un morceau après interrelationships - il manque un verbe .

Sinon "path-dependent interrelationships", on peut comprendre :
"Path dependence

Path dependence explains how the set of decisions one faces for any given circumstance is limited by the decisions one has made in the past, even though past circumstances may no longer be relevant.[1]

Voilà... Je me demande aussi si je ne suis pas en train de traduire en français un texte ayant lui-même fait auparavant l'objet d'une traduction à partir d'une langue autre que l'anglais... Ca ne va pas être simple. Merci pour votre intervention, en tout cas...

terrible English Good Luck! This is lousy English "trialled"? Is that even a real verb? I can't figure out what or who "their" refers to and I have no idea what a "path dependent interrelationship" is.
