English term

S/S

English to French Tech/Engineering Cooking / Culinary Product specifications for store cafeteria
S/S is a column heading that appears in a table on a Product specifications sheet for products prepared to order. They are to be used by the employees of a store who will use them to prepare and serve the products.
The table details the ingredients, barcode, the quantity/weight, and this S/S column for a product, example Steak & Ale Pie as below
PRODUCT
Steak & Ale Pie 250 G barcode xxx S/S Y
Parsley Garnish barcode xxx S/S Y
Mash 150 g barcode xxx S/S Y
Beef gravy 50 ml barcode xxx S/S Y

For some products, there is YES in the column (ex. Steak & Ale Pie), for others, there is N/A (ex. Chicken Tikka Massala).
Thanks in advance.

Anne Gosselin Oct 1, 2012:
Specification Sheet (S/S) ?
Jocelyne Cuenin Sep 27, 2012:
self- service ? une idée.

spec sheet for Cafeteria of a store (not for deli I made a mistake, this spec sheet is for the cafeteria of a store, not for their deli counter. sorry about that
Tony M Sep 26, 2012:
Context Can you confirm if this really is a deli counter? Sounds a bit more like a cafeteria servery...?

S/S usually stands for stainless/steel and N/A not applicable
I suppose that products have to be prepared or served in S/S dishes and others in any other packaging.

Note from asker:
Thanks for your answer, but no from the pictures on the spec sheets I see that they don't use stainless steel dishes
