What does "up" mean? How to translate it?

By the way, does "hold your line" mean 守住你们的防线?

感觉这是个很口语化的内容,实际上取决于说话人的个人习惯。翻译的时候完全可以根据上下文的风格、译者个人的习惯选择。方向用“前”或者“上”,动词用“冲”、“压”、“顶”之类的都没有绝对的可或者不可。既然是足球,再怎么说“上”也不会有人以为是要飞起来...

如果是往前进,为什么不说forward呢?
