在公证书翻译中，公证书结尾经常有类似语句“In Faith and Testimony whereof I have hereunto set may hand and affixed my Seal of Office this 18th October 2008”。
这句话翻译比较费神。首先，我们来逐段分析：
“Hereunto“指在公证书上；
”Set my hand“指签名；
”Affixed my Seal of Office“，指盖公证处印章；
最头疼的是”In Faith and Testimony whereof“，直译为“以我的信仰与诚信证明“之类。
