Discussion
Given that Standard Arabic does not allow for informal variations in order to vonvey the tone of the English original, how do you go about it?
I would like to hear your opinion on this translation issue.
As you can see below I did not agree with Muhammad Said regarding his use of Egyptian dialect. Altough I can see where he is coming from, I believe that Egyptian would only work in Egypt and if the translation is intended for the wide public and if the brief of the translation states so expressly.
