It is not used as often, today we use more Mirëmëngjes (Good morning), Mirëdita (Good afternoon, good day) and Mirëmbrëma (good evening).

Njatje'ta

In fact, it is a greeting. You can say "njatje'ta" as you can say "mir'dita" which in fact is "good day" but it stands as hello in albanian some times. If you just want to attract the attention you say "ej" which is "hey" in english or some times "alo" for "hello" (like on the on the phone).
