This is the title of a popular book created on-line in China. The author is known as 怺爱嬥莲 (Shen Ai Jin Lian). I know that:
1. "Fenzi" is current Chengdu dialect generally meaning "pretty girl(s)".
What I want to know is: Can you help me come up with a translation for Chengdu fenzi which somehow captures the use of "fen," that is, powder, rouge, basically "make-up"? It would be easy enough to translate as "pretty girl," "beauty," " etc., but I'm looking for something more slang, more original and which somehow suggests an association with the original Chinese character.

How about "Chengdu Pink-a-dollies", "Chengdu Pinkerellas" (not really original) or "Chengdu Dollies" (dolls usually have make-up, don't they)?
I can only bounce you some ideas here. Hope they help a little. Good luck!

Comment: "Not all that thrilled with "dolls," but it does better meet my criteria of tying the word to that for make-up."

Just a suggestion.
I am not a Chinese and have never been in Chengdu, but I guess 暡巕 doesn't mean "powder, rouge, make-up or anything the like."
暡巕 could mean that the girl has a skin so smooth like powdered, something like the peel of a "peach."
So, I would translate 惉搒暡巕 as "a (peachy) chick from/of Chengdu" or simply "a peach from Chengdu."
Just a suggestion, subject to disagreements.
