: While "considerate" is the usual direct translation, if that is the sentence I would not use "considerate" -- underwear cannot be considerate (unless you guys know a very special underwear shop that I don't O_o). "Intimate and comforting" may do better.

Phrase for phrase probably is not the way to go as no one English phrase would seem to contain all the multiple meanings of the Chinese phrase. IMHO either "Intimate and comforting" or "intimate and sensitigve" would be close.
