Chinese term

更换一侧前车门升降器总成

Chinese to English Tech/Engineering Mechanics / Mech Engineering
First of all, I want to make clear that I do not speak Chinese. I have a car handbook that is written in English and Chinese, and we are translating it into Spanish. The English of the handbook is awful and really hard to understand. I have already asked some terms in the English - Spanish pair but would like to see if it is easier to understand if I translate the Chinese directly into English or Spanish.

I will include the original in Chinese and English to see if someone can help me to understand so I can later translate it into Spanish. I would have asked it in the Chinese-Spanish pair but there are not many translators registered.

"更换一侧前车门升降器总成
Replace front door hallaird of one side

更换二侧前车门升降器总成
Replace front door hallaird of two sides

更换前车门内开门拉杆
Replace front inner door rail panel"

Thank you very much in advance.

Gracias Gracias, Leonardo. Tengo a dos colegas trabajando con este material y yo estoy tratando de resolver las dudas. Al menos, esta vez el original tiene texto en chino para poder hacer la consulta en el foro respectivo
Leonardo Lamarche Apr 8, 2010:
Yvonne, I don't envy you at all. Keep looking for Chinese to English translators.
Looking at the word hallaird (and putting on my chinese custom), I would not be too surprised if it means "handle". It seems to go nicely with the phrase. Good luck!

to replace/change front door riser/lift assembly/block

Based on the Chinese you offered, I would say as titled in English. Sorry for my poor Spanish to express well enough to help you.

Hope this helps out anyway.

It's probable, according to my experience. However, it all depends on the context where you are working...:-)
Note from asker:
Don't worry. I do understand English perfectly. Does this riser have anything to do with the window? Could it be the "window lifting mechanism"?

Replacement of the side of the front door lowering assembly

Amiga, la traducción que te envío me fue sugerida por un amigo que traduce al japonés. Espero te sea de utilidad!
Note from asker:
Ya te iba a preguntar donde habías aprendido chino. Gracias por la ayuda. El original es una pesadilla.
