This is from a Sudanese text. Does it mean to chew a moist stick/twig?
أجابت بعد أن بصقت كتلة لا بأس بها من لعاب مُر حيث كانت تستاك بعود رطب كسرته من أحد فروع شجرة النيم الهزيلة
