Syrian University certificate
I am translating a degree certificate for an engineering student (Syrian) and it lists all the subjects and gives the marks. On the subjects where the student got less than 50 marks it says:
(٤٨ + ٢ / ١٠٠ فقط خمسون ولا غير (م
With the marks where the student got over 50% there is no (m). It just says e.g. 55/100 fifty five only. But on all the ones where he got under 50 and they have added 1 or 2 points to make the score up to 50, it has (m) after it.
Does anyone have any idea what this could stand for?
Many thanks!

Maybe also مرفوع, which means that the university has granted him 2 marks to get a "Pass" grade, i.e. the minimum grade to succeed.
