English term

swish

Non-PRO English Medical Medical (general)
Swish and swallow 1 milliliter medicine three times a day.

The dictionary meanings for swish does not seem to fit here. Could you guide me about the same? Also, whether it is possible to access proz on mobile phone because it is a very useful and indispensible website?

With CB. Some people want help ALL the time, never answer questions for others & can't bother to support the site
Kim Metzger Mar 31, 2005:
Please post your question about mobile phones in one of the technical forums.
Charlie Bavington Mar 31, 2005:
If you think it's that good, how come you've never taken the trouble to join properly?

neutral Elizabeth Rudin : Something is not quite right here... 1 MILLILITRE of medicine is barely enough to wet the tongue, I can't see how it could be "moved around the mouth" or "sloshed about"... :)) Or perhaps I'm missing something... :)

whatever..the question was what is "swish"

yehts but maybe the person doesn't know that word, right/ gotta explain the thing, no give a thesaurus answer
agree Bjørn Anthun : this is exactly what is meant here (but I agree with Elizabeth that 1 ml seems quite little to do that)

rinse

Rinse your mouth with the medicine and then swallow it. In other words, make movements with your mouth so that the medicine is distributed all over and then swallow it.
