.....the term is from a menu (Speisekarte) and I have asked and looked around but I don't know what "nappiertem Rucolasalat" is -- the whole thing reads as folows...."In WEißwein pochierte Nocken von erlesenem Räucherfisch an mit Dill-Vinaigrette nappiertem Rucolasalat".....hope that's enough info.....thanks in advance!

topped is not necessary in English afaik. The dressing usually goes on top of the salad (if it's not tossed into it).
