English term

Mum does it, dad does it, .............

English to Hungarian Art/Literary Art, Arts & Crafts, Painting literature, film
Ez feltehetőleg egy nursery rhyme. Érdekelne a folytatása, illetve a magyar fordítása.

the child's sense of being "predestined" to the same substance abusing life as his or her parent. One counselor put it this way, "I think many of them, well, I know from talking to the older children who do disclose it, they feel it's predestined that they're going to be the same way. They see no hope for their future. Because Mom did it, Dad did it, brother did it, uncle did it.

Suppose a flower is given as prasād then you touch it with your
forehead and do namaskāram. There is a meaning to this. Maybe you don’t
know what the meaning is. But you’re not required to know the meaning. If
you know the meaning it is good. In America you’re required to know the
meaning. You’re required to know the meaning because the children will
ask. If you do namaskāram they will ask “What is this?” So you have to
tell them the meaning. But because you were brought up in India and the
whole society has this respect, and so it grows upon you -- mom did it, dad
did it, everybody did it, you do it. And it is associated with sanctity.

My entire family is in insurance... or was. I was trying, DESPERATELY to avoid it. Because, forgive me, I find it exceedingly boring. You have no idea. All the talk at the dinner tables over the years just whips over my head as I live in my own little world... So, anyways, trying to avoid it. Mom does it, Dad did it (before retirement), Grandma did it (before kids), Grandpa did it (he did many things), Uncle did it. Cousin and brother did it as summer jobs. Best friend does it, best friend's husband works for the tech section of the company... Do you see a vicious trend here?

Buckle up, buckle up, because it saves our lives.
It’s the law we follow every time we take car rides.
Mom does it; Dad does it. It makes me oh so glad.
Once we learn the habit, it’s really not that bad.

csak német szöveget találtam az interneten

Mindegyik találat német szöveget mutat. :-( Biztos vagy ebben?
Peer comment(s):

neutral Krisztina Lelik : igen, a dalszövegek németól vannak, mert a film zenéje nagyrészt a Die Toten Hosen nevű (kedvenc) együttesem számaiból áll.

Lásd lent

Nem hümmögik véletlenül? Noel Cowardnak van egy dala, a címe "Let's do it", ami így kezdődik:
Birds do it, bees do it,
Even educated flees do it,
Let's fall in love...
És így folytatódik még vagy nyolc szakaszon keresztül. Ráadásul minden adandó alkalommal ismert és ismeretlen tollforgató átírta, vagy adott hozzá, mert elég könnyű, és remek paródiákat lehet írni a mintájára. Pl: My kith and kin do it,
Every uncle and aunt,
But I confess to it
I have a cousin that can't.
Teenagers squeezed into jeans do it
Probably well' live to see machines do it
Let's do it, let's fall in love. :-)

agree Eva Blanar : én is erre gondoltam
