The hotel is a great 4 star old colonial hotel. It is built overlooking the river and has housed many visiting notables, including US President Herbert Hoover. Although expanded in 1924 and 1987, this hotel is still a place for people who like history. The attractive old building is still an impressive sight, so are the English plaques on the walls and the stunning hall mural.
这家殖民地时期眺河而建的四星级老式酒店曾经接待过很多显赫人士，其中包括美国总统赫伯特·胡佛。虽于1924年和1987年两度扩建，但这里仍不失为访古探幽的好去处。古老的酒店建筑风韵尤存，墙上的英国饰板和大堂壁画也丰采依旧。
