spiegazione
"Talvolta si irradia" ... maybe not "radiating"

\"chest discomfort\" potrebbe andare bene

NOTE ONLY
It really depends on the nature of the pain:see descriptions for both radiating and diffuse pain with regards spinal injury for example below:
"There are three basic types of neurogenic pain: local pain, radiating pain and diffuse pain. In people with SCI, the most common of these is diffuse pain.
Local pain is felt as coming from the site of the spinal fracture or trauma.
Radiating pain is felt as extending from the site of the injury into surrounding areas.
Diffuse pain is a burning or aching sensation felt below the level of injury in the area where SCI has caused reduced or absent sensation".
