Discussion

Steffen Walter Sep 26, 2023:
PCM ... and PCM could stand for paracetamol, which would fit with novalgin/metamizole (another painkiller).
Lirka Sep 26, 2023:
I agree with uguni about Routinelabor. What they likely mean is "kleines Blutbild" (=blood count without differential) which does not involve LFTs, so these were mentioned separately. I honestly think it's the likeliest in this context.
Lirka Sep 26, 2023:
w/ Steffen- Blutgasse was my first thought, too Blutgruppe is very unlikely.
uyuni Sep 25, 2023:
RTL = "Routinelabor"...?

Yes it is a badly transcribed OCR of a PDF. Abbreviations are an issue too. Blutgase is a possibility thanks. Will check.
Steffen Walter Sep 25, 2023:
Scanned/OCRed PDF? This looks like an OCRed document. Case in point: "Ceftnaxon" should actually read "Ceftriaxon" - see https://www.gelbe-liste.de/wirkstoffe/Ceftriaxon_21732

This is why the abbreviations/acronyms should also be taken with the proverbial grain of salt. "BG" could stand for "Blutgase", though. On a more general note, https://www.medizinische-abkuerzungen.de/suche.html is quite helpful when it comes to such questions.
