The Procurement department after preparation of the QCS and receipt of LoE if required, creates either a Goods Purchase Order in case of procurement of materials and Service Purchase Order in case of procurement of Services in SAP on the selected Vendor and provides the details of the purchase such as Material Code (in case of materials), quantity, description of service (in case of services), purchase price, GL number for accounting of expenditure and other terms and conditions of the purchases. The Procurement department also attaches the approved requisition mail, and QCS prepared in the Purchase Order. On creation of PO in SAP the PO is floated for approvals in SAP as per the configured approval workflow.
