I know this person is basically saying their head is confused, disoriented, overwhelmed but I am thinking about how I could word that other than actually saying, "My head is spinning".
Estoy con la cabeza, "¿qué pasó?¿qué pasó? No sé lo que ha pasado."
that is to just give you a sample but how would you word the part, ESTOY CON LA CABEZA
I am thinking my head is spinning but I think there may be other options. Any help will be so appreciated!
Have a wonderful day!

to be thinking
One way to address the internal dialogue could be:
"I'm thinking (I think) to myself, "What happened? What happened? I don't know what happened…"

There are other ways to express it, but I'd like some more context (for example, the preceding and following paragraphs) before making any other suggestions.

Example sentence:
And I'm thinking to myself 'good God man, be reasonable'....

philgoddard
: I think this is probably what it means. You could say "I'm like".

AllegroTrans
: "I'm thinking" and, as much as I detest the expression, "I'm like" would work; I don't think we need any more context

My head (I) can't figure it out.
You have to use your head/brain to figure things out.
